High Trail Vanoise has decided to modify its course.
The HTV route will no longer pass by the Grande Motte glacier, as the climatic conditions do not allow us to guarantee the safety of the runners in the future and in view of the evolution of the current glaciers.
From now on, the course of the HTV will be 72 km and 4820m of D+.
The start of the race is at 4am on Saturday 06 July.
For the relay format, the relay will take place at the Duis. The relay will be at the 36th km.
IMPORTANT :
1 : New barrier at the pass of the iseran 2 more accessible before the ascent on the aiguille pers.
2 : to allow the maximum of runners to finish and to be classified, a diversion is set up at the pass of the iseran 2 with a direct access to the tunnel of the 3000, crossing of the finishing line and classification with penalty. So a 63Km route and 4241m of D+.
Last finish in 16:16:30 with an ITRA rating of 386.
You can find the route of the new course and the estimated times below
Time restrictions have been calculated to their ultimate limits so that you’ll have enough time to finish the HTV. No runners, whatever the reason, will be allowed to run beyond those precise limits, for safety reasons. Participants must conform to the time and to the controllers’ instructions. They must well organize their race so that they will not have to rush to finish the race.
